Two episodes of the popular Nickelodeon Jr. show explore musical themes. In “Blue Game wants to play a song,” our intrepid Steve Blue covers instructions for what song she wants to play. Various nursery rhyme songs are presented along with examples of music in nature. The last theme is further explored in “Music in the daily Way.” Music in glass of water is detected down to the ground, and animal sounds. The thinking chair is a musical instrument. The sound and rhyme matching is repeated until the video is playing very well. – Doug Thomas
